About Us

Abigail Harris

Abigail Harris is a defense and technology lobbyist and Sidebar co-founder. In her current role, Abigail advocates to legislators about the benefits of innovative technologies and explores how the government can embrace innovation. With respect to defense policy, she collaborates on everything from the National Defense Authorization Act to the Department of Defense Appropriations Act.

Abigail is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in International Studies with a focus on Economic Development. Currently residing in Washington, DC, she spends her free time engaging with local community incubators to support small businesses and local entrepreneurs.

Amanda Molina Esq.

Amanda Molina is a DC-based attorney specializing in artificial intelligence, data privacy, and cybersecurity at Microsoft Corporation. In addition to her full-time career, she serves as a Captain for the Judge Advocate General in the United States Air Force Reserve Corps. Prior to joining Microsoft, she served for over 3 years
in the Office of the Legislative Counsel at the United States House of Representatives where her portfolio covered a wide range of legal and policy topics. Throughout law school Amanda worked for multiple
government and international organizations, including the White House, Department of State, and USAID. With over four college degrees (including an MBA and MA in international affairs with a concentration in national security and foreign policy), Amanda currently serves as a board member of the Arlington Committee of 100 (a local nonprofit in Northern Virginia), the Latino Caucus Chair of the Young Democrats of Virginia, and the Co-Advocacy Officer on the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy board within the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area.
